ONE SMALL, REAL OUTCOME

Build your first website

Learn a small amount, build one useful page, and publish a simple project you can maintain.

What you’re making

A mobile-friendly information page with a contact link, readable text, and a working public URL.

  1. 01

Learn only what this page needs

Use freeCodeCamp to practice semantic HTML, forms, and responsive CSS. Build a short page about a real service or project instead of copying an entire template.

Before moving on: The page has one clear heading, meaningful links, and a layout that works without horizontal scrolling.

    Add one purposeful interaction

If your project uses React, consider a single React Bits interaction that helps navigation or feedback. Check its license and test reduced motion. A plain HTML page can skip this step.

Before moving on: Navigation still works with the animation disabled, with a keyboard, and on a small phone.

    Publish and check the result

Review Cloudflare Pages hosting terms and limits. Publish your own project, then open its public URL on a phone. Check links, the title, contact details, and loading behavior.

Before moving on: A visitor can understand the page and complete its main task from the live URL.
