Browsing the library

You can browse without a library account. Page and search requests reach Cloudflare to return results. Hosting providers may process connection information such as IP addresses, timestamps, and browser details for delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention. The library does not build individual visitor profiles.

Your bookmarks, comparisons, and toolkits

Saved resource IDs, comparison selections, toolkit folders, and the usage-count opt-out are stored locally in your browser. They do not sync to a library account. Clearing site storage removes them. Export your toolkits if you need a backup or want to move them to another device.

A shared toolkit link contains its title and public resource IDs in the URL. Anyone with that link can read them. Do not use sensitive names. Shared links reach the hosting service as ordinary page URLs; unpublished resources are not returned to visitors.

Aggregate usage counts

The library counts explicitly submitted searches and clicks on original-source links. Search labels are limited to recognized catalog vocabulary; unknown terms are grouped as “Other searches.” Raw unknown queries, visitor identifiers, IP addresses, and user-agent strings are not written to the library’s analytics tables. Normal search requests still contain your query so the server can return results.

Counts are grouped by day and public catalog term or resource ID. They are event totals, not unique visitor counts, and can include repeated activity. A scheduled cleanup removes analytics rows older than 90 days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. You can also opt this browser out below.

Suggestions and corrections

Forms store the submitted public resource details and correction text in a private owner review queue. They do not request an email address. Entries remain until the maintainer removes them; approval or rejection does not erase the review record. Do not include secrets or personal information. The hosting rate limiter uses connection information temporarily to reduce abuse, without adding it to the library’s review or analytics tables.

Owner administration

Supabase Authentication processes the owner’s email/password login, authenticator enrollment, and signed sessions. Catalog and article changes, import history and snapshots, link-check results, review entries, and administration audit events are stored in Cloudflare D1. Local editor drafts also use browser storage. Use a trusted device and sign out after administrative work. The public website does not include the owner’s password or authenticator secret.

External services and links

Fonts, illustrations, and bundled previews are served by this website. An external preview image can send ordinary browser connection information to its provider. Opening an original resource takes you to a third-party service with its own privacy policy. Server-side source checks contact public provider endpoints, Cloudflare DNS, and GitHub; they do not send a visitor identity or search history.

Advertising

No advertising scripts or affiliate tracking links are active in this version. Before introducing advertising, the actual providers, collection practices, and required consent controls must be disclosed and implemented. See Advertising disclosures and Cookies & storage.
